In the 1970s, Jacques was a victim of conversion therapy and was held captive for two years on a conversion farm, subjected to brainwashing, exorcisms, and indoctrination. Through self-treatment and to protect others from the same suffering, Jacques fought against conversion therapy for 45 years and had to undergo intensive therapy to heal from his traumas.
